Our Mission

Our mission is to give back to Americans, alleviate suffering, and ensure respect for the human being.

We have been organized to identify and provide care, assistance, support, and related services to underprivileged American citizens in the United States. Funded entirely by grants, American Charitable Trust provides opportunities for Americans to regain a footing in society.

American Charitable Trust (ACT) is a humanitarian organization that believes in supporting US citizens. We are passionate about giving back to the community and helping those who are capable, but less fortunate. Support is provided to individuals in need primarily through financial assistance for basic necessities like food, water, clothing, shelter, and basic health care.

As part of our longest running outreach program, ACT has been providing food boxes to Colorado families in need since November 2013. Our volunteers assemble to food boxes by hand, ensuring each family receives a hearty supply of ingredients for healthy meals plus nutritious snacks.

Missouri - sources of protein for food banks

In 2018 and 2019, ACT purchased meat for Missouri food banks, helping to provide healthy protein sources for over 5,300 people and families in need in the community.

Kansas - Hygiene/Cleaning items to rural areas

As part of our Kansas outreach program, ACT has been providing hygiene and cleaning items to rural areas since 2016. We’ve delivered these important necessities to over 3,200 people.

Maine - travel reimbursement for cancer patients

ACT has provided travel cost reimbursement to over 300 cancer patients in Northern Maine.
